Dr. Nadav Astman (MD, PhD) is Head of the Dermatology Division at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov). With extensive experience in clinical dermatology, dermato-oncology, military medicine, and medical leadership, Dr. Astman provides expert, personalized care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Astman completed his medical degree and PhD at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev at the Academic Reserve Program. He subsequently held a variety of medical and leadership positions in the Israel Defense Forces Medical Corps, and completed his residency in Dermatology at Sheba Medical Center (2013). In his final military role, he served as Head of Dermatology in the IDF until his retirement from military service in 2021 with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
He later served as head of the Dermato-Oncology Service at Sheba Medical Center and completed a second specialization in Medical Administration. In addition, Dr. Astman is actively involved in national professional leadership as a member of the Executive Committee of the Israeli Society of Dermatology and Venereology, and served as Secretary of the Society from 2023 to 2025.
Dr. Astman has published numerous scientific articles and is a senior lecturer at Tel Aviv University.
